Terms of Use

Nobel Games — Font Quest — last updated 11 May 2026.

These terms cover your use of Font Quest. We’ve tried to write them in plain English. The short version:

  • You bought a license to use Font Quest on your household’s computers.
  • We don’t collect any data; we have no way to spy on you or your kid.
  • If it doesn’t work for you in the first 30 days, we’ll refund you, no questions.
  • We can’t guarantee the game is perfect, but we’ll fix what we can.

1. Your license

When you buy Font Quest, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Font Quest on any computers used by members of your household. You may make backup copies of the installer for your own use.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Font Quest or your license key.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the game except where applicable law gives you that right.
  • Use the included fonts (which come from third-party open-source font projects) outside of normal in-game use — those fonts have their own licenses, included with the game.

2. Purchases, refunds, and pricing

  • Font Quest is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription.
  • All sales are processed by Paddle, who acts as merchant of record. They handle billing and any applicable taxes.
  • 30-day refund: if you contact us within 30 days of purchase and Font Quest isn’t a fit, we’ll refund you in full. No reason needed. Email support@nobelgames.io.
  • Prices may change over time; the price you pay is the price shown at checkout.

3. What Font Quest does and doesn’t do

Font Quest does not:

  • Send us your kid’s progress or activity
  • Show ads
  • Auto-update
  • Track usage in any way

It does:

  • Save your kid’s progress to a local file on your computer
  • Let you reset that progress from inside the app
  • Request fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) when your kid views a typeface that is not pre-bundled — see the Privacy Policy for what that means in practice

If we ever change any of the above in a way that affects your privacy or how the app behaves, we will tell you clearly.

4. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. The short version: we collect nothing from the game, and your kid’s data never leaves your computer.

5. Optional parent account

You can buy and play Font Quest without ever creating an account. We also offer an optional parent account at nobelgames.io/library that lets you re-download the game on other computers and look up your receipts. The account is for the adult who made the purchase — not for the kid playing the game.

  • Accounts are managed by Clerk on our behalf.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the library page; we remove your associated record within 30 days.
  • Deleting your account does not revoke your license to play Font Quest — the installer you already have keeps working.

6. Updates

We may release updates to Font Quest (bug fixes, new content, new fonts). Updates are delivered manually — you download them from our website. Font Quest does not auto-update.

When you buy Font Quest, you are entitled to all minor updates (e.g. version 1.x). A future major version (e.g. 2.0) may be offered as a new purchase or as a discounted upgrade.

7. Disclaimers

Font Quest is provided “as is”. We do our best to ship a polished product, but no software is perfect. We do not warrant that Font Quest will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every computer setup. If something doesn’t work, please tell us — we will try to help.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nobel Games is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Font Quest. Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid for the game.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under your local law.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will say so on our website and (if you signed up for the newsletter) tell subscribers in advance. Continued use of Font Quest after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be filled in by Nobel Games], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you a different right.
